Alysha Palmer serves as Program Director for our Jefferson Parish project, bringing over 10 years of experience in workforce development across Louisiana. She has advanced through roles including Intake Specialist, Recruiter for the Workforce Innovation Fund (WIF) grant, and Unemployment Specialist. She has also led orientations for STEP, ABAWD, and SNAP Employment & Training programs, helping individuals access critical workforce services. Alysha has worked as a Career Advisor and served as a Quality Assurance Interim, strengthening program compliance and supporting team performance. She holds an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Career Edge Professional (CECP). Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources. Outside of work, Alysha enjoys spending time with her family, her dog, participating in book clubs, and working toward her goal of reading 100 books each year.
