Kilgore, Texas, June 2019:
Career TEAM, a national workforce development leader, announced today that it has been selected by the Workforce Solutions East Texas Board to become the Workforce Center Operator in the 14-county region of East Texas. The initial two year award is for $13M with three additional option years for a total of $32M.
According to Career TEAM, CEO, Christopher J. Kuselias, “this most recent expansion into Texas further supports our organizational objective to integrate our nationally recognized Career EDGE self-sufficiency model with state and federal workforce development funding sources nationwide”.
The new Texas based Career TEAM staff will focus on coaching adult and youth customers with an emphasis on long-term economic self-sufficiency. Career TEAM Chief Performance Officer, Anthony Terlizzi, commented, “our combined knowledge, expertise and application of technology will result in a holistic approach to workforce outcomes, previously unseen in Texas.”
As a result, per Chief Operations Office, Danielle Simone, “we are in the process of developing a local network of resources to deliver our integrated (affiliate model) system of training and placement services. Career TEAM will work closely with local based entities to provide the Workforce Solutions East Texas Board with optimal usage of state and federal funding”.
