These programs will now also receive the benefits of the Career EDGE content and tools and Case Managers will be able to track their participants based on their program and training.
Career TEAM now offers customized assessments built within their Career EDGE Learning Platform. This allows job seekers and students to login to the Career EDGE and before they begin their career exploration journey take a series of assessments to help them better understand their skills. In addition to their skill identification, we are also able to properly match users with their most relevant career clusters. After they identify their top career clusters, the user can then explore all the necessary education, career pathways, and labor market information so that they can have a full understanding of the career cluster.
Anthony Terlizzi joined CTL in 2018 as Chief Performance Officer for Direct Service awards. In this capacity, Anthony is responsible for Workforce Operations, New Business Development, and Performance Management for our Government division. Anthony has extensive WIOA and TANF experience, previously overseeing large, multi-site workforce operations, particularly in New York City. Anthony graduated from the University of South Florida with a BS in Finance.

The Kalamazoo RESA (KRESA) Team met Career TEAM at the NAWDP Youth Symposium during Career TEAM’s breakout workshop discussing their online portals. KRESA saw the opportunity for Career TEAM to provide their youth with a portal to manage their applications as well as provide youth with professional development content and tools.

Career TEAM CEO Christopher Kuselias celebrates grand opening of the Career TEAM American Job Center in Framingham, MA with Massachusetts Secretary of Labor Rosalin Acosta and Director of Department of Career Services Alice Sweeney.
Career TEAM began the month of November by presenting to a standing room only crowd at the annual National Association of Workforce Development Professional’s Youth Services Conference. With nearly 100 attendees packed into the seminar room Career TEAM CIO Harrison Tonne along with our partner from the Washington DC Department of Employment Services, Ms. Thennie Freeman, presented on the results of our highly successful summer initiative to automate the registration and orientation of approximately 15,000 youth enrolling in the Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program.
This initiative saw 90% of interested youth enrolled in the summer employment program do so on the Career EDGE platform. Of those who enrolled and completed their orientation for summer youth employment online, 70% did so using a mobile device. That worked out to be nearly 10,000 youth completing enrollment and eligibility requirements for summer youth employment opportunities in the nation’s capital using their smart phones. There was a lot of interest in this innovative approach to recruit, prepare, employ and retain some of the nation’s hardest to serve youth.
Career TEAM also sponsored a booth during the three day where along with Harrison, Danielle Simone, Chief Administrative Officer and Charles Botts, III – National Lead Trainer had an opportunity to talk about the summer youth employment initiative, answer questions and hand out some Career TEAM t-shirt that turned out to be the, next to the Career TEAM presentation, the most talked part of the conference.
